Julian Anderson
Julian was a Civil Servant at Ministries of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and Director General of Country Landowners Association. Whilst Julian called himself a 'gentleman farmer' after retiring from the civil service, he most notably was one of three seconded to Brussels to negotiate Britain's accession to the European Economic Community from 1970 to 1973. Julian left a legacy to The King Alfred School in recognition of the impact his education here had on his life. This interview was recorded prior to Julian's death in late 2022.
